VERSATILITY OF STROKE

The advantage of using a stepper as opposed to a cycle is that a stepper can accommodate a decreased knee range of motion whereas a cycle demands at least 110º to complete the circle.  But all other steppers permanently link the strokes so that when one leg goes forward, the other must come back.  There are situations when this linkage is undesirable and P44 allows for independent strokes, allowing each leg to work to its own ability, whether that be alternating, together, or even one at a time.  And the available leg linkage attachment provides the option to link the strokes, making P44 the most versatile stepper on the market.

ADJUSTABLE PEDAL STOPS

The LCD shows the resistance and workout data (time, power, and work).  The bluetooth® wireless receiver can transmit the data to a PC. The resistance can be set up to 50 lbs. per side and is constant throughout the stroke instead of being speed-dependent. The pedal stops allow the starting position to be set to accommodate the user’s height and range of motion and can also be used to limit knee flexion.

MOBILITY

Weighing in at only 25 pounds and with a footprint measuring a mere 26″ x 18″, P44 fits into any space.  And the rear handle makes pick-up easy. P44 attaches to any 4-legged chair, including wheelchairs, and the 360º casters make it easy to seat the user first before attachment. During transportation, the chair attachment bar slips into a slot in the front and is used as the steering handle.
